You won't know how I felt unless you were one of the many participants who were waiting for their turn anxiously. I was one of them, obviously. Wasn't exactly tensed up when I entered the lecture theatre, which was as per normal lecture, full.

Then, gradually, that anxiety started to build up in me as I watched the 20 contestants who were in front of me... (there are about 29 people after me) Witnessed how the cd they brought couldn't agree with the player and they gotta end up singing unplugged, how some of them forgot the lyrics and quite a few of them going out of tune.

Rather soon, it came my turn. I was pretty worried at first, fearing that I wouldn't fare well. But, thankfully..my class was there to support me!!=) The cheer they shouted just before my song really gave me a confidence boost although my limbs still trembled for that one minute plus when I was on stage. And I wondered why...bcos this is the FIRST TIME in my life that I shook so much on stage. Where did all the previous stage experiences disappear to? Nonetheless, it ended off well, with their cheers of claps as my classmates stood up. I can't express my much felt gratitude to all of them. It's just heart-warming to know that a group of people amongst the big crowd is cheering and supporting you.

For that...THANK YOU to all who have supported me in one way or another!

Well..you may be thirsting for the results. *Takes a breath* I got into semi-finals!!=) It's quite a achieving feeling to see your name on the list of 6 chosen from the 50 who participated. And for the semi finals next week, I am not gonna repeat the mistakes I made yesterday!!

Disgressing a little, did my 2.4 km run today and after clocking in a timing of 13:59, my legs went for a strike for the rest of the day. Hopefully, this will be the last 2.4km run of my entire life. Goodbye 2.4!!
