I met up with the com last night, as usual, when I am with this very special group of friends, the experience is always filled with laughter and floods of memories. But for the first time, this best guy friend of mine spilled out his heart-felt feelings and made me learn more from his life experiences.
I learnt to cherish, to treasure and to appreciate the people around me, you should too, before you lose the precious time of doing so. Though being at the same age as me, I realised he went through a lot more than I do; he dealt with several incidents in that long and torturous period of time during which his will, endurance and emotions were challenged and shakened. Despite that, he tried to remain positive about life and brings joy to all of us with his jokes and imitation everytime we meet up. Now, after two years, he's still perservering and working towards the As.
What's amazing was, instead of giving up hope and accept God's arrangements, he took this whole journey as a turning point of his life and from there, grow. To become someone who's brave and mature as compared to what he used to be. If I were in his shoes, I would have either plunged into depression or just shut myself up from the rest of the world and refuse to accept the harsh reality.
For the courage and the determination, I seriously respect him from the bottom of my heart. I know he frequents my blog and so, I just wanna say "we are all here for you, kn"
