If only the universe did not contain "la", "lor", "meh" and "sia"

Perhaps I should change this starting phrase to..."if only singapore..."

I can't imagine. Our national identity could be at stake you know! What we are infamously known to speak, a one of a kind in this world-Singlish.

We could have become so much more civilised and refined with our speaking manners and attitude.

We could have a higher educational standards.

Especially so, provided my GP improves tremendously at the expense of singlish. Well, not that I am saying I am penning down Singlish in my General Papers, but the sight of all the red markings on my scripts just reminds me yet again that my language is terrible.

But, if Mr. Singlish did not exist in the first place, talking will be such a queer. Many of your smses too, I suppose?Nonetheless, this type of language still from quite a chunk of my SMSes and they are here to stay.

Life's been pretty slow-paced right now as I am giving myself a breather after the Common Test. Gawd..what a long one I am enjoying, too long for comfort! TV covers 80% of my daily activities after school whilst the other 20% is sleep. If only life's like that all the time...... The mid yr's over and we got back our results, I am seriously disappointed with my performance so far. It's not that I achieve really horrible results but they are just not up to the expectations of myself, especially my targets for the final As. Well, personal goals differ from each individuals and I can't force either of you out there to think of what I want for myself. In any case, the upcoming four months should be a time when I do my catching up!

Way to GO!!
