I was just reminded that the Great Singapore Sale 2006 has started. Notice I am slow, not by seconds but by days. And my immediate response to that reminder was.. " Oh shit, my finances are running low now! AH! HOW?"
Being near to bankruptcy don't feel great at all, one thing because I don't feel the vibe for the sales which most Singaporeans would have engaged themselves in, the last weekend. I could imagine swarms of people dashing into shops to grabs the cheap deals and what am I doing here then?
Broke, figuratively.
To add on my misery, it's the holidays now, when going out becomes something instinct and that requires money. shucks! How I wish I have $50 to shop now; there are so many things that I wanna buy but, my dreams bubbles just bursted with a 'pop' when reality hits hard. Yet again, reminding me that my piggybank is going hollow soon.
Just look at my wishlist and you will realise that the mothers' day gift is not striked off, not that I didn't update the list, but true enough, I haven't got her a mothers' day gift, yet. And like what I told her, I am going to "combine" that gift and another for her birthday. This time, no delay permitted. Since I am running a budget deficit now(oh that sounds so economics!), I reckoned that I should do some craftwork this time round, like I always like to:) So, my idea is to get a plain-coloured apron and some decorative materials from Spotlight and make a uniquely-decorated(hopefully) apron for Mum!
For now, window-shopping? Is that the only alternative?
