Just today, something struck me hard. These group of 4 kids age between 5-7 roughly stood in front of the advertisement board that many bus stops have.
It was a poster of the new movie, Poseidon, and in the picture, the big ship was lopsided with part of it damaged.
The kids went right in front of it and one kid tiptoed and raised his finger as high as possible, then he said in mandarin something like ," hey look! this guy is so poor thing, he's falling out soon."
And the other boy continued, " But the uncle behind is there to save him ma..."
It can mean nuts to you but if you look at it from another perspective, it actually tells us how pure and innocent children's mindsets are. They know how to sympathise with the others, unlike many adults who reads about accidents so often that they are already numbed to feel anything. Take for instance Volcano Mount Merapi erupting, some may just comment, " Aiya, it's so far from us, we won't die one la!"
Notice that age makes a hell lots of difference?
