After feasting at a "Fortunate Restaurant" somewhere located in Toa Payoh last night, Dad and I were planning for a surprise cake for Mum=) On a side note, that restaurant serves really delicious food which makes me drool upon the sight of them. It sells chinese cuisine, together with dim sum and my oh my, the har gao was finger-linking good! The fillings does not consist of the normal scrimp paste like any other har gaos sold elsewhere, but instead, one bite on the tender, translucent skin reveals real prawns and when you take another bite....OISHI! The prawns are so crispy and I supposed the prawns were cooked in some soup before being wrapped 'cos I could feel the liquid oozing out when my teeth crashed on them. heh..are you hungry now? There were a lot more good food and knowing that I will run out of vocabulary to describe, I better not go on.
So, as I was saying, Mum actually didn't know we bought a cake for her until she saw it in person. Quite crappy, it was meant to be a surprise anyway.
And, I saw her gleaming with joy so happily last night!
MY MUMMY!=) With the candid shot of habin which was so nicely taken. that hand belongs to my brother.
