"ka-rung gu-ni...siew po zhua..siew sar kor...dian xi ki..ladio..."
Whoever states that they have to shout in Hokkien?
But I will laugh like mad if I hear an ang moh rag-and-bone man who goes like..
"rag-and-bone man...collect newspapers...collect clothes...teeeveee...radio"
Cos normally they pronounce radio as ladio.
That was the *count fingers* 4th rag and bone man who had walked past. And each time one walks by, Habin gets so irritated and barks at them like crazy. Probably because their horns wake him up from his sleep; he can't get a proper sleep and so he gets really agitated and is bent on driving them away. Then I have to go carry it with it still struggling in my arms to get down.
This 4th guy is a little different from his counterparts. The rest normally has chesty male voice. This one shouts in a shrieky and sharp voice that gives me goosebumps.
"Pls, garung guni men, don't pass by anymore...I wanna sleep" (on behalf of Habin)
