I was watching two of the VCDS that song nian lent me. It felt like a movie marathon to be watching vcds for four hours plus, till when my stomach realised that it has nothing to digest then I gave up watching and went to look for food instead.

The second show that I watched was a chinese one starring Louis Koo and Rene Lau, titled 生日快乐.

It's about the relationship between this guy(louis koo) and his gf(Rene Lau). He was a guy with many many females by his side, and she, was a lady with little confidence in herself. They were each pursuing their dreams at different universities. Then one day his sisters wanted to send him overseas to further his studies. She stayed in Hong Kong and suggested that they become good friends instead; for she knows that nothing is going to work out for this long-distance relationship. Years passed, every year during her birthday, he will send her a birthday message without fail. Through the years, they got closer, further, closer again and went apart again. Soon, she was informed that he was about to get married, whilst she was still holding the hope that they may be together again very soon. Next, both of them went separate ways. She got her wish to perform in Vienna, he disappeared from her life. One year, she received her birthday message 42 hours later than usual.

It turned out that he actually passed away from cancer and he made a white lie to stop the girl from thinking about him. He was listening to the recordings of her playing the piano during his last journey of life.

The last part was so sad that I teared and teared and teared non-stop.

Which is pretty common of me. I just can't stop my tears from flowing everytime.

anyway, capricious me is slightly more to NUS now.

If I were to be pro-NUS today, pro-NTU tomorrow, wed-nus, thur-ntu, fri-nus, sat-ntu, sun-nus. I might just end up in NUS.

which will very likely be my choice also la.
