A minute ago, I was procrastinating on my blogging work cos my brain's dead after the killer econs test. Well, but still, I entered my username and password and yes, I still came into the blogger windows afterall.
It's always like that, I have lots of things in mind to blog, but when my fingers touch the keys, I seem to have contracted dementia and that kinda stopped my flow of thoughts. Let me recover them.
*light bulb flashes*
AH!
Few days ago, I caught the movie "I not stupid too" in cinemas. Other than the periodic laughters, my thoughts were kinda triggered by the story plot.
I can't recall ever since when, I started to feel that everyone has his/her own talents. Society is ever so realistic, or phrasing it in another way, many locals just simply judge one by his/her qualifications. Nowadays, the education level that one receives determines your position in this society, but more often than not, there are people out there who don't excel in academic wise but certainly in their specific area of talents.
Job interviews see only that superficial brain power of people and just give your face a big cross if your qualifications are inferior to the other guy in the queue. No offence, but a undergraduate may not necessarily be more capable than a polytechnic graduate. So, why do we have the certificates-prove-it-all idea inculcated in our minds? What I want to emphasise is that our society is getting really realistic, too realistic in fact, that we are often blurred from the hidden talents that people have.
Who says Express stream and JCs are the only place that will lead you to a bright future? I don't reckon so. Perhaps, many meant how powerful a growing environment is in determining the path you take in future. But, such beliefs have slowly evolved into ones that are hurting and ungraceful.
Come on, people, we gotta wake up and help the victims of such undesirable perspectives.
Well, I don't really have a solution for this but I just feel there's a need to raise public's awareness on how cruel people are behaving and Jack Neo's doing exactly so.
Enough of my babbling, just treat it as if I am practising for my gp, or maybe, a under-standard essay? HA!=P
