My frequent giddy spells do raise an alarm for a decent check-up, specifically a blood test, just to find out what's really wrong with me. As what those health campaigns always heads with "Prevention is better then cure". And so, I headed to the polyclinic to see the doctor early this morning before going to college.

Well, other than the necessary registrative work, all I did was WAIT. The worse part of this whole 2 hour in the clinic was the waiting time before being called upon for my blood test. The queue was long and I had to withstand the beepings of the "number-caller" coupled with the fear of having to see 2-0-4-3 up there.

It was just a matter of time la, and you know what, my fear heightened as I waited longer and longer...

"TENH!" 2-0-4-3, big, on the rectangular screen.

"Shucks! it's my turn, I heard my vessels wailing for help!"

The nurse instructed me to rest my arm on that little cushion and went off to look for a new box of gloves. So, I was there, facing the needles, tubes of blood, plasters, cotton wool and whatever scary equipments they have got in the laboratory. My heart thumping twice as fast as normal, I can helped but to imagine how that young lady is going to take my blood.

Next, she came back and did the job. She said my blood vessel is small, meaning that it will take slightly longer time to fill that container-.-" oh how I HATE needles, shall dread them for life. In fact, I disliked them since young. The pain? I can't put them in words; it was not excruciating, neither was it negligible. But for a fact, it's indeed pale in comparison to putting drip. I must admit though, that I have a low threshold of pain.

So, back to the doctor with the test results, he said I don't have anaemia and my blood is normal, but I have low blood pressure.

The solution? Drink more water, but it makes me wonder, I'm already drinking a lot of water daily, so why do I still have low b.p? Perhaps, it's really my diet. This can't be helped actually, I always have my lunch in college where vendors sell all the unhealthy fried food.

The doctor asked if I needed a MC and I almost gotta "hop"(catch) his eyeballs when I mentioned that I need to run 3.5 km tomorrow(or rather today since it's already 1 plus). So, I am excused still. Feeling neutral about that cos I kinda want to run.

Well, actually after that incident in November, I am taking much more care about my health. Afterall, I do agree that HEALTH IS WEALTH=)
