It seems that the power of how environment changes one can never be underestimated. I met a couple of my friends in college recently and it suddenly dawned on me that..."my oh my..they have really changed a lot from the XYZ is used to know 2 years ago"

Perhaps, as what many always say, girls are vain by nature. Well, I do agree, very much in fact. Come on, if you were to think of it, if no girls like to doll themselves up or "splurge" on accessories, cosmetics companies and many others would have unfolded. Well, back to the topic of environment's influential power.

The age of 17-18 spells the beauty of a girl? Perhaps yes for some and as I mentioned above, I could notice the vast changes on this particular group of friends. From people whom used to be more conserved to feminine girls who are particular about looks and image matters. Well, can we then deny how amazing your friends can do to you, unconsciously?

Vain? Perhaps we should put it in a politically correct form, dressing up is a palpable way of showing YOUR fashion sense and it should yields no blame. Afterall, who, amongst the ladies would want to be seen as a country bumpkin? As MacDomination comes hitting hard here in Asia, we see the uprise of outlets that are signs of MacDomination and in fact, unknowingly, people's fashion taste do get influenced by this too. For instance, the Bohemian style of dressing which seems really common as you walk down the streets of Orchard.

How on earth did I ever come to this? Anyway, to put it simply, my point is I am glad that those friends of mine are looking better now!!=) *cHEeRioS*

And bear this in mind, the next time you go on a shopping spree, get yourself dressed!!=) For it's a display of your fashion sense, not vainity!!=)
