Attended my first choir practice with Common Voices yesterday, at the new CSS compound! My thoughts?
er..here goes>.<
1. I was stressed, cos they all seem so pro. And the conductor just went like "pls sight read leh" and I was like shocked and lost.
2.I am still stressed, cos I have to sing a high G at the first practice when my vocals have already turned rusty! NO~~~~
3. I am still still stressed!:( Cos Shu Jun said gotta go home and learn, yes I know but it's been like some donkey years since I last touched a piano and decipher those tow-gays. On top of that, I don't have a piano at home to figure things out. Oh mans. I can hear the coordination department in my brain yelling for help. ARgh!
Of course, other than being pretty stressed out, at least I know some interesting people and kind souls over there! :)
After the practice, we were heading to harbourfront and quite coincidentally, Miss Ho was making her way to vivo too, so we ended up walking around in Vivo, each buying a top and taking some nice pictures (see below:D) before making our way to meet the rest. Arh, it was such a wonderful time catching up with Miss Ho and we seemed to have endless to things to tell each other about that we just can't seem to stop chattering =P
Next, it was town having dinner with Ed, JY, Calverk and Lester, with the intention that two of them are going for their enlistment this coming week. I always believe there's such a symptom called pre-enlistment-anxiety syndrome and it happens in all those guys before they enlist. Guess it's a natural thing, is it?=/ yep, dinner together in a group is always fun and filled with laughters. I like! :)
Afterwhich, brave Miss Ho went to pierce her ear! oh mans, she's really brave, my legs almost turned jelly at the sight of the "gun" and at the sound of "tiak!" 2 are enough for me, really!
No idea why, but we just LOVE to take pictures!
The two who's down with pre-enlistment-anxiety syndrome=/
Dinner! :)
