the bustling outdoors is really making me getting jittery over the arrival of cny. Perhaps it's just the kan-chiong-ness of the common middle-aged ladies I encountered at the wet market this morning; they are usually the ones who chiong to buy this and that before the new year comes, ain't they?

and amidst the aunties crowd, I overheard one of them telling her fellow look-like-everyday-gossip-khakis that the price of capsicum has inflated for a horrid $1.30!

her tone and action looked as if the $1.30 price hike=end of the world.

I guess these topics keep them engaged huh; perhaps I'll understand in 20 years time.

I've discovered the biggest news in my family now, though I still very much couldn't believe my ears when mummy told me>.<
