I am back from the ogls'(orientation group leaders) camp. My after-thoughts?
Now I know how orientation in jjc can be the BEST out of all jcs. It is the people, the spirit and the games. And seriously, I didn't regret a single bit joining ogl.
So, day 1 was filled with activities, we played games and learnt new dances=) The best game I ever played is the GIGANTIC SNAKE AND LADDER which is made up of roughly 100 pieces of mahjong paper. You can imagine how tedious it was to get it done. But at every step, there's a task for us to complete. It's like, the family throws the dice, then complete the task and throw the dice again.. And you know what, now I seriously hate the grandstand, not that I used to like it though. But my legs are so wobbly after climbing up stupid stairs at the grandstand for countless times in order to get to our destination.
Oh..there's one thing that I can't bear in the camp...long sessions of debrief!! The monotonous and never-ending sharing of stories by Mr Leow and Mr Ng really makes my eyelids heavy, but I tried hard to keep awake..either by rolling my eyeballs or moving. I thought, how nice would it be to have my bed right beside me, ah..it's a dream afterall.
Lights out was at 0000hrs and I fell asleep only at 12 plus, with the help of the lullaby music which the council played. *lol*
as I was deep in my sleep, they rang the fire siren-.-" Immediately, my eyes sprang open!! And everyone rushed down to the track to gather. That was at 435am. Next, they send us back to sleep, when we are supposed to wake up at 515??

Anyway, let me talk about my choir practice at upcc last night. Ogl camp ended at 1 plus in the afternoon and I had to rush home to get my stinky clothings washed. Unpacked my stuffs and it was almost time for me to go out again. Oh god...
I was kinda lost and kept fumbling my dance steps during the practice. But jjc grad nite is like tmr??!! Luckily, my dance partner, Phil from upcc, kept reminding me of my steps. We are standing at the front, no mistakes are unpardonable!!>.<
I am stressed up!! ogl work, orientation, grad nite, school reopening blues etc..
But I'll survive all this. I must.
