After 3 months or so living with curls, I finally gave up! It's not really nice to get a shock every morning when you look into the mirror, to see this monsterous-looking bush of hair covering half of my face. You know, the totally aunt-ish look. Before I even step out of the house each day, I had to put this and apply that to keep that mane of mine in shape, which was... such a bother. After wash, I gotta dry it with a hair-dryer when I was pressing for time, then apply the necessary styling mousse before I rushed off to wherever I was supposed to go.(because I usually takes pretty long time to do those above, you see)

When the wind blows, I have to very quickly, spilt open the undisciplined curls that is probably covering half of my face before you get a proper view of things. So, for me, I used to choose the simple way out of bunning it up most of the times=/

Ah~ it feels better now, not having those curls, light and manageable! Gone, the burden! (:

yesterday, I was at walking along the sheltered walkway from JE mrt station towards jec, then came this huge gust of wind that sent the cockroach feelers of the students walking there flying all over, holding their books even closer to their chests, this group of girls were busy clearing those feelers which apparently seemed pretty much irritating. Actually I have no idea why they were holding their books even tighter, it's not like the wind will blow those texts off. Typhoons don't happen in Singapore.

Anyway, since I just got rid of the messy curls, I was feeling so comfortable and when those gusts of wind came, I was pretty much unaffected. I felt that way and I wanted to show it out to signal HOW GOOD STRAIGHT HAIR IS. So, with the wind, I walked and pretended that "AH~~~people are busy clearing the mess in front of their faces but I don't even have to bother". Just when I was feeling all satisfied with my new hairstyle...

I saw this uncle who was 80% bald looking even more non-chalant. Okay, mine was still flying around, but manageable. But that man only had hair covering the sides and back of his head and somehow, I seem to feel this proud aura coming from him. OKay, he wins the most-unaffected-hair-in-wind contest. I admit defeat.

I went for a swim this afternoon, thinking that there will probably be some late afternoon showers and it would be wise for me to go swim when the skies look dark and before the rain arrives. I should have gone in the morning, but nowadays I am sleeping like 1 or 2 am, so don't expect me to wake up at 7am yah? Anyway, I wanted to avoid the sun simply because I don't wanna be burnt. And guess what, it turned out to be the opposite. I am so black now!!!!!!! =( Nonetheless, I hope I burnt some fats just now.
