Simplicity Vs Complexity

As life moves on into another chapter of my life in a college, it seems to me that people are no longer "pure"? Or should I say I have gained another level of insights regarding human nature? What's hidden beneath those masks are sometimes unpredictable; their evil plots, greed or even hypocrites! Now, I see those little actions of people trying to get on the ladder of fame. No doubt, I would think that it's absolutely alright to go after fame, but what's important is, getting it through sheer hardwork..

Man..what's human nature coming to??

I would say, back in those good old days of primary schools or secondary schools, there's never a need to protect yourself from the people around you. Simply because, what held the smiles on faces back then, was sincerity and truthfulness.

Even in my present life, I have to be wary of some. Some whom I deemed as "oppurtunists" (I have no wish to name anyone in particular). I guess, it's so hard to get a couple of really BEST of Friends. That's precisely why I really cherish my friendship with mh, kh,th and some others. These are the people whom I can trust. totally.
